In other instances, buyers’ agents get frustrated when utilizing a certain technology to facilitate an offer and the list agent is not tech savvy enough to use the technology to reply or is unwilling to do so. Not to mention the additional frustration of both agents that comes with managing all correspondence via email where each offer written or received results in a separate email chain which can get messy and unorganized.
Our team recognized these frustrations and set out to develop an offer submission and negotiation platform that could bridge the gap between the technologies each party preferred to use with their clients and keep all offer terms and correspondence easily accessible in one location. So no matter what technology (or lack of technology) an agent prefers to use to create offer docs and obtain signatures, they can still do so with their clients. But when submitting and negotiating offers with each other, both agents would use the same simple medium to communicate.
MLS Offers was born out of the need for standardization and transparency in the offer process throughout the real estate industry. But, for MLS Offers to be adopted as “the way” offers are submitted, received, and negotiated by the majority of agents nationwide…it needed to also be SIMPLE and benefit both agents involved. We think we nailed it!
